Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo a week or so ago and had a great time. I finally had a chance to download the pictures but I have to admit that I am too tired to narrate them tonight and feel confident that they are pretty self-explanatory.

Fall is Here

We had a trip to the pumpkin patch with some friends on the docket for the weekend. It has been pretty wet lately and raining this morning so we cancelled. The afternoon brought sun and we had a little someone dying to go so we thought we would head over and at least pick up some pumpkins if nothing else. It turned out to be a nicer afternoon than we had expected.

We are in love with her new preschool class and this week they have started handwriting. We are proud and a little stunned that she got the concept on the first day. I am assuming they will start with more basic letters, T, X, I, L, etc.

Halloween Costume Preview

Bella wants to be a fairy for Halloween.  I felt like this was one of the few costumes that I could attempt to make myself so I gave it a try.  I have the tutu put together and it is beyond adorable.  I am in the process of sewing on some crystal beads and I need to attempt to make wings. 

She wanted to try it on this afternoon and Daddy had to grab his camera so I thought I would share a preview.
