A little more than two months into our new family...like any good second child, we are terrible at keeping up with pictures and development. It doesn't help that we moved and are juggling selling one house and getting another one set up and maintaining two careers. Ruby continues to blossom. She is cruising and will take a few steps unassisted AND unrequested....don't ask her to walk to you...she only wants to walk when she wants to do it. She is mimicking words and actions. She has similar sensory issues like her big sister had so we are working on that as well as her feeding challenges. She is happy and healthy. She loves to give kisses to everyone and especially loves her sister and doggies. Daddy is the apple of her eye.
She has started transitioning to a toddler program. Even after a couple of hours, we have seen a little positive change in her. We are confident that spending time with some children her own age she is going to catch up developmentally and have some fun along the way.
Bella is in the final lap of her preschool days. We cannot believe that our baby is going to start Kindergarten next fall. She is so smart and is a very curious learner. She has a great summer ahead of her with some fun camps. Now that we no longer are part of a community with a pool we are thinking of joining a pool somewhere so the girls can swim this summer.
