Dance Class Recital Pictures

Bella had her dance class recital pictures tonight. Her hair curled a lot more than I would have thought it would. Her recital is in a few weeks and her number is "Broadway Baby".

Just in case she becomes the next stacking cup champion of the world...here is the night she got her start.

Finally, with the help of a stool, she is tall enough where she can wash and dry her own hands. While, this was to help her become more independent, it made us both a little sad to think that she can do even more things all by herself.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Belated Mother's Day! We have been even more busy than usual this month and so I am a little behind. I had another wonderful Mother's Day. Bella and Daddy made me my favorite breakfast - french toast. Bella picked out two gifts for me - gummi butterflies and a new oven mitt. She told Daddy that she hoped I would share the gummi butterflies with her and I am pretty sure she had her fair share if not more.

We made chocolate chip banana bread the week before and she dubbed my only oven mitt as hers and said I needed a new one, ta da, new oven mitt.

My sweet family also took me out for dinner. We had a great day together.

Mmmm...wonder where we were today?

The strawberry patch opened this weekend and I told Bella that we could go this weekend. It was all she could talk about this morning and so off we were to the strawberry patch.

Bella washed 75% of all of the strawberries....ate a few of those...

You knew this was coming...

We aren't sure, but we are thinking between the sampling at the patch, the snack while she washed the berries, the strawberries she had for lunch, for snack and the gigantic piece of pie she had for dinner......she had at least a pound if not more in maybe an 8 hour window.

One could say she likes strawberries...
